Amir receives four ambassadors ending their tenure in Qatar

DOHA: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, received four ambassadors at his office in Lusail Palace as they paid farewell visits marking the completion of their diplomatic assignments in Qatar.

Ambassadors Received by the Amir

The ambassadors received by His Highness were:

• HE Faisal Ali Ibrahim, Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia

• HE Mohamed Noureddine Ismail, Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana

• HE Gautam S. Bhattacharyya, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden

• HE Odette Yidi David, Ambassador of the Republic of Colombia

The ambassadors visited His Highness to bid farewell at the end of their tenures in the country.

Al Wajbah Decoration Awarded

During the meeting, His Highness the Amir presented the Al Wajbah Decoration to the four ambassadors in recognition of their efforts to strengthen cooperation and enhance bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and their respective countries.

He also wished them success in their future endeavours and expressed his hopes for continued progress and prosperity in the relations between Qatar and Ethiopia, Ghana, Sweden, and Colombia.

Ambassadors Express Gratitude

The ambassadors expressed their sincere gratitude and appreciation to His Highness the Amir and to the officials of the State of Qatar for the support and cooperation they received throughout their diplomatic missions.

They noted that the cooperation extended by the Qatari authorities played a significant role in the successful completion of their assignments and in further strengthening ties between Qatar and their respective nations.
